The Bahamas has changed their visitor requirements for fully-vaccinated travelers. As of May 1, those travelers will no longer need to provide a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the country.
Travelers who are not fully vaccinated will still need to upload a negative PCR test result, which must be taken within five days of their arrival.
Both vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers must upload a Bahamas Health Travel Visa, as well as opting into the mandatory health insurance plan prior to their visit, according to Travel Weekly.
A fully-vaccinated traveler means someone who has received all doses of whichever vaccine they received, and also passed the two-week immunity period. Vaccinated travelers will be required to upload proof of their vaccine.
All travelers staying more than five days will still be required to take a rapid antigen test on their fifth day in the country, and the United States is still requiring proof of a negative COVID-19 test within three days of returning to the country.
