There’s a Press Conference scheduled for today, bringing more information about the long awaited Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, set to open in May of this year.

Its hard to believe but that’s just around the corner. The new entertainment venue should help with Galveston’s continued efforts to recover from the effects of 2008’s Hurricane Ike.
