There’s a brand new restaurant and live entertainment venue about to open in Downtown Houston. It’s called The Capitol at St. Germain. It’s at the corner of Main & Capitol at 705 B Main Street. Its in the space where Zula used to be.

It looks promising, promoting Live Music, Special Events, Dining & Cocktails. According to their website, “The Capitol promises something old & something new in a majestic, turn-of-the-century venue restored to its original grandeur.”

The Capitol should be opening within two weeks. Their website has a live music event scheduled for Nov. 4.  That night, they’re featuring Old Man Markley, an eight piece punk bluegrass band from Los Angeles. You can check them out on Facebook also.
