Cleveland Lee, Houston Hospitality Professional Passes Away

I’d like to take a moment to recognize the passing of one of our Houston Hospitality Professionals.

Cleveland Lee, known to his friends as Cleve, passed away on the evening of Tuesday, October 11, 2011. It appears that he was the victim of a domestic dispute.

He was a beloved brother and uncle. He studied at the University of Houston and spent many years as a hotel sales manager, most notably at the DoubleTree Post Oak and recently at the Lancaster Hotel downtown.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Katy, TX, in the Bolin Chapel at 600 Pin Oak Road on Friday, October 21st at 11am. A graveside service will be in Strawn, TX, west of Dallas, at the Mount Marion Cemetary on Saturday, October 22.

All of his friends and associates in the hotel and hospitality business knew Cleveland as a kind, friendly soul and he will be greatly missed.
