Alaska Airlines is launching a subscription flight service, allowing travelers to take a large number of flights for a monthly fee.
Alaska’s Flight Pass will cost $49 and is rolling out to California first, with Flight Pass members able to take up to 24 roundtrip flights each year within California, as well as nonstop service from California airports to Reno, Phoenix, and Las Vegas.
There are two annual plans being offered on Flight Pass, which are different only in advanced booking time. The $49 plan requires booking at least 14 days before travel, and as early as 90 days in advance. The second plan, which is $199 a month, allows same-day booking up to two hours before departure, and as early as 90 days in advance.

After two years of staying close to home, guests are ready to travel again and with 100 daily flights from 16 airports throughout California and between California to Reno, Phoenix and Las Vegas, Flight Pass will take them there.”
To sign up for Alaska Airlines’ Flight Pass, you can do so at www.flightpass.alaskaair.com and choose between 6, 12, and 24 flights a year — with upgrade fees depending on the number of flights you choose.
